OTHER INFORMATION

This piece was designed and sculpted by Andrew Bill and was the event piece for the 2007 Dragonsite event held at the Flotel in Northwich on the 7th of October 2007 it is sculpted in the same scale as Andrews Bookwyrms.

Furthermore, it is entirely produced and painted in the UK

This Dragonsite event piece was strictly limited to the one day for people who made an effort to get to the show, no more will be made available on ebay or in shops after the event and no more will be produced other than those sold on the day making this a true collectors piece. (Unlike the Enchantica 2007 event piece that turned into a farce because they released it to any shop who wanted one making a mockery of the "Event Piece" title and turning it into a general release piece!) the only concession made for people who couldn't make it to the show was that people could order it online but only on the one day for £45.00 but it didn't come with the certificate that the piece had if you bought it from the event..

The piece also has some of Andrews quirky additions to the sculpt that started to appear in his seven sins range, these were added to celebrate the county of Staffordshire and are as follows:

*The plate, tea pot & china dog represent the potteries
*The propeller represents the Spitfire aircraft
*The traffic cone represents the M6 motorway
*The two keys represent the UK lockmaking industry
*The beer bottle represents the Burton Brewing Industry
*And finally, the dragon itself represents the 80's & 90's gift market boom with fantasy figures and the tail is a loose representation of the Staffordshire knot

One other element that is also represented is the rock that the dragon is sitting on, it was meant to be a piece of coal for the mining industry but the final colour scheme chosen meant it looks like a rock instead

Below is the certificate that came with the piece only if you attended the show (front, back & inside)
