Out of all the Faeries released by Dragonsite in 2005, this is the only piece that isn't based on art by Nene Thomas that I actually really like. This is a very nice piece that I think photos really don't do justice, you have to see it for yourself.

A store in the U.S managed to get hold of Numbers 0001 to 0010 of Garland and in my personal opinion took advantage of collectors by selling them at premium prices.

I feel this sort of activity shouldn’t be encouraged because other stores will begin to think that they can sell low numbered pieces at extortionate prices too and make even bigger profits out of us than they do already for what is just a standard production run piece.

Collectors can be fooled into thinking that they have got the first piece off the production line when in fact piece number one could easily be the fifteenth! Also with advertising quotes like “One of a Kind Special Issues” – No, they are like every other piece, and “Once gone, each number is gone permanently” – That’s how it always is! These are no different, and, “Each piece is 'One Only' of that piece and number” – again that’s what all numbered limited edition pieces are like! And no amount of words can change that.

Now don’t get me wrong, like everyone else I like to get as low a number as possible but this is taking advantage of collectors by big named stores and they will continue to overprice pieces like this if collectors are silly enough to be fooled by the greed of sellers!

I also like very late numbers if I can’t get an early one, does this mean that we will also be charged extra by certain dealers for the last 10 pieces?
