The Chess set never got produced but Andrew Bill did a lot of art for one, it was planned to do the set in pewter.

WINTER (Dark)

The picture below shows the full set of Winter playing pieces with the following line up

King - Vrorst
Queen - Tuatara
Bishop 1 - Vakari
Bishop 2 - Mezereon
Knight 1 - Wargren & Snowthorn
Knight 2 - Unknown Dragon & Rider
Rook 1 - Throne Citadel covered in ice
Rook 2 - Spire of the North
Pawn - Goblin Warrior

The picture below shows a couple of designs for both the King and Queen (Vrorst and Tuatara)

The pictures below are close-ups of the above picture, in the first picture you can just make out in the top left hand corner the words 'Enchantica Chess Set'

The pictures below are better quality pictures of the Vrorst & Tuatara pieces

The first picture below is very faint but it shows the two Bishops - the first is Vakari and the second is Mezereon, the second picture is much clearer and it shows Vakari in a much better pose (this would have made a great piece for the main range not just the chess set).

The picture below is a castle/rook for the winter set which is the 'Spire of the North'

The picture below is the castle/rook which is actually the 'Throne Citadel' covered in ice as mentioned in the books but never shown before, if you look you can make out the top spire sticking out of the ice.

Unfortunatly the picture below is the only picture I have of the Rooks, they are Dragons Keep and the Throne Citadel

Again unfortunatly the picture below is the only picture I have of the Knights, they are Rattajack on a Carrier Dragon and Jonquil on a Dragon
