EN2181 - Naria

Naria

The Sentinel

There have been many dragons, whose stories have been told over the years.  Yet it is the tales of the guardians and keepers that are retold time and time again and whose stories never seem to tire but grow with wonder and intrigue.

Dragongorge, even for dragons, can be a very dangerous place especially during the mating seasons.  However there is such a dragon whose sole purpose, is to defend the nests of other dragons while off hunting for food.  Naria, the name given by Danskamere meaning “watchful mother”, is one such dragon.  Having only a short lifespan itself, Naria would be called upon by mothering dragons to defend their nests and would be fed upon her return as a reward.  However, any dragon that would attempt to snatch any young while in her watch, would be met by a terrible vicious attack that the predator would very quickly look elsewhere for food.
