EN2186 - Quest

 QUEST

The darkness came so quickly.  What took lifetimes to achieve, was destroyed in a single moment…

No one knew what had happened, the unification of man and beast had suddenly been severed, each had become its own, predator and prey.

The Great City of Celladon had not escaped this awful wrath.  Its great buildings, whose great prominence had filled the eastern skies for as long as time itself, was now a mere shadow of its former glory, and of its people, a proud and noble race, envied throughout the land for its knowledge and sciences and above all its unique bonding with a dragon race from the depths of the young Dragongorge.  Together great deeds were done, a mutual understanding found, statues and murals graced every building an age where peace and understanding existed.

Yet, from the crumbled ruins, the founders arose, a small gathering of wise people, well taught of the great knowledge, whose sole aim was to claim back, that, which had been so cruely taken.  A chosen one was appointed, Leah’nah, daughter of the scribe Otherius and from the ranks of their fellow dragon counterparts came Xellos, together they would undo the wrong that had befallen their city and make it and its surrounding lands, mighty once more.

And so, as grey traces of dawn tinged the eastern sky, atop of the highest towers of the great dome, the two, newly formed companions look upon the path they must take before embarking upon their great quest.

The adventure begins…
