CALISLAHN

Forest Dragon

Three pairs of yellow eyes followed every move of the elvenchild.  Conn had ran deep into the forest, sulking after breaking his bow messing around with his friends.

The wolf pack closed the circle, their sudden approach alerting the child, whose self pity was quickly replaced by the grip of fear.  The pack Leader grinned, stepping forward.  It was then that he caught the scent, a look of puzzlement crossing his face.  The leaves and twigs exploded upwards as the green scaled-dragon burst from it’s lair.  Standing but a moment, the wolves fled, yelping from the moonlit mossy glade that was home to Calislahn, a forest dragon and friend to the good of heart.
