SILENT GUARDIANS

The last wolvine attack had been devastating, our garrison, our main defence, had been almost crushed.

Its so hard to describe the very nature of their ferocious attack, the sheer size of these beasts, long ferocious fangs, nothing in our armoury seems to deter them, but most terrifying of all, upon these wolvines sat a demon in thick white fur, blue, devilish faces with rows of sharp rancid teeth and piercing red eyes which weakened even some of our most hardened warriors, they seemed to grasp the cold, biting air and throw forth a torrent of razor sharp ice shards.

I now stand silent, leader of the last remnants of our people’s defence, leader of our last defence.  The demons gather in the mornings mist, the cold wind bites my face and I wondered if we would live to tell of this nightmare…
