PIECE PROFILES

Bronze Miniature Season Dragons

These Pieces were only released in 1992 and withdrawn in 1994 and they were only available in America they were produced by Cameo Guild Studios and were released by Munro Collectibles, the U.S. Enchantica Distributor, Munro Enterprises, with the blessing of HSC. Each was numbered, and came with its own miniature certificate of authenticity and a box. The edition size for each of the 4 was intended to be 5000, but no where near that number were made, it is said that about 300 were actually produced of each. They are exact replicas of their larger counterparts and are very well detailed despite their small size, occasionally you may find these appear on American retail sites for sale but they sell for between £200 to £250 for a set of four. some 'Mini-Castle Displays' were produced especially for the pieces and no more than 50 of the Mini-Castle Displays were ever produced.

The heads on the Spring and Winter Dragons do look slightly too large but the Autumn and Summer Dragons are perfect

Below are photos of the mini castle base - the base is very rare as no more than 50 were produced and the only one that Dragons and More have in their own collection cost them $250.00 which is more than the piece is worth, but it is very rare and they have never another one for sale. I used to think this piece was ugly but after seeing this one I have to admit that I do like it.

This piece is owned by fellow collectors Del & Jo Nutting who kindly allowed me to take photo's of the base
