OTHER INFORMATION |

This
speci can be found all over the Northern
hemisphere, but the main concentration of
fossils was discovered in Canada and Alaska.
So we deduce that these were the nesting
grounds. The presence of many eggs, at first
thought to belong to dinosaurs, proves the
existence of strong breeding colonies, suggesting
large family groups. The young possibly
kept in a creche, nursed by many mothers,
similar to a pride of lions. Largest found
35cm (13 3/4")
