Apothes the Herbalist
To outsiders, the forests are a place of wild beasts and even wilder men. Spirits and spectres inhabit these forests which are home to Apothes.
It is there that he gathers his herbs for healing and potions. On the sixth day of the new moon he harvests mistletoe with a golden sickle and gathers nightshade and foxglove as well. This eve finds him speaking herblore with Old Cowslip, a goodly elf much versed in the gathering and uses of mushrooms and toadstools. Some of these fungi will make a fine meal and others will have other valuable uses.
