There is only one quest left to the old master wizard Merryweather Sunlighter. After a lifetime of mastering the great disciplines of medicine, alchemy, philosophy and magic he is still seeking the elusive "Philosopher's Stone," a rare and elusive substance which will cure all known ills, including old age. A long night's poring over a new supply of scientific literature has left Merryweather tired and dozing in his mighty oaken chair. Although his mind's enthusiasm for discovery has not diminished, he sometimes wishes his old body was still as keen.

This piece is special to me for a couple of reasons, it was one of the first pieces in my collection and was always a favourite of mine, but for some obscure reason when trying to thin out my collection I was offered good money for it, so I foolishly sold it, something I was to regret later.

Then in 2007 the members of the Sorcerers Library Forum decided to all club together and buy the piece for me so that I could have it in my collection again, and as a thank you from them to me for running this website. So it is rather special to me and I owe the collectors a huge thank you.
