The Dragons of the Covenant

For countless centuries residing to the farthest reaches of place and time, the Dragons of the Covenant have lain in careful watchfulness, protecting their eternal brotherhood, and the secrets that they have gathered. Each has a task to perform and each held sacred as themself and as part of that elusive pact between them all. For it is the covenant itself which is the utmost treasure and they are fearful in their gard over it. The joys of knowledge and the sealing of the fate of the brotherhood for time to come : they will hold it dear and despair to those who prevail upon their unity.
