HOME DRAGONS

As a final attempt to remarket some of the Genesis Creations range,Clarecraft dropped the Genesis name and released eleven pieces (books, candles & fruit) under the new 'Home Dragon' banner, all this meant was that they got seven Carol Lynn Penny sculpted pieces and four of their own (funny how the majority of the pieces were the Carol sculpted pieces) and painted them in different colours!

Unfortunately they didn't really think out the colour scheme very well because they painted the book & candle dragonets in a wishy washy blue & pale yellow, and the dragonets on books had the books painted in an awful bland beige/vomit colour instead of the rich colours they used to be in and the fruit dragonets were painted in a poor green with the Pepper in an odd blue & green combination (but the pepper itself was excellent which is odd).

This combined with the very poor paint work (very rushed painting resulting in missing paint in obvious places & over lapping paint in others and cross eyed dragons) led to the end of the dragonets. The only good thing was the much cheaper prices of the pieces compared to when they were originally released but the paintwork reflected this.

(Please note that this section is undergoing a facelift so most of the photos in here will be replaced with larger and better ones as soon as possible)
