This piece has a little bit of a history to it so bear with me here...

It was originally painted by Caroline Briggs and was owned by Amy who also took the photos and owns the copyright to them (superimposed onto the blue background by me), Amy wasn't keen on the colours so fellow collector Paul Bodsworth bought it from her and asked another collector (Sue Camm) to do a few alterations to it... To keep this piece all in one place I've added the photos of the repainted piece at the bottom of this page.

Because Amy didn't like it, she sold it to Paul Bodsworth who asked fellow collector Sue Camm to give it a repaint, it started off as a partial repaint and ended up being virtually a complete repaint, the only remnants of Carolines painting is the scroll which Sue left alone but the dragon is a complete repaint. Because Sue had painted another Scribe for Paul, her idea was for them to be Night & Day with this one being Night (See the other one Here)

Please note that Sue had to use the flash on her camera to take the pictures which often gives false colour readings and apparently there is some green on the dragon but the flash has washed this out! I will take some photos to replace them when I visit Paul soon.
