Important
Just to let anyone interested that i'm coming back to the world of dragons again soon and i WILL update my "sorcerers library" site soon, sorry it all went very quiet but i had a lot to sort out in my life and illness has kept me away for much longer than i ever wanted to be! hope everyone is well.
Anyone who contacted me by email and i didn't reply... i'm sorry but my email for the website seems to have been down for a few months and i didn't know :( it seems ok now though (fingers crossed)

The Sorcerers Library Chat Community
I've created a chat area at long last, I've created it as a community on LiveJournal so you have to get a livejournal account but it's free to join and you don't have to keep the journal active, you can just create the account and just use it to read and join in the chat. I've had a LJ for quite a few years now and it can be good fun and it's a good way to meet like minded people.
I don't expect it to be full of chat all the time but I'd like it if people joined the community because I will use it to inform people of any update to this site and to report any news I may have, plus just like any other chat page, you can interact with everyone and chat amongst yourselves.
Please join and lets get the dragon chat back to how it used to be :)

(Verbum magus section) - Future releases page updated with photos of "Ignis" (3 pictures), "Aqua" (3 pictures) and "Terra" (3 pictures) and I've posted different pictures of the long awaited "Thief" (12 pictures)
You may also notice an extra book added to the index page... Well this is for the "Bookwyrms" and new "7" range that I will add sections for in the next few days

(Verbum magus section) - Extra photos added of Portal on a third page of the piece painted by Tina Sherratt at the 2005 Dragonsite event on the 25th of September 2005. I love this version and I think it's much better than the production piece was
(Bookwyrms Section) - New section added for the "Bookwyrms" including pictures of the original wax sculptures and a photo to show how all 4 pieces fit together
(7 - Sins Section) - New section added for the "7 (Sins)" Range with many photos of the first in the range, including a photo of the original wax sculpture.
There are a few details missing from these sections but they will be added as I get them

(Verbum magus section) - I think it's about time I added pages for some of the Verbum pieces to get it roughly up to date. I still need to get proper photos of some piece but I have enough to get the pages open :)
Renaissance - As I don't have this piece yet I've used pictures that I took back in May 2002

Spellbound - My piece is still with Adrian so until I go to pick it up I've put up a few pictures that I took at the 2005 show, I deliberated over this for a long time but for my own reasons I've decided to make this a separate piece to the original "Librarians Assistant" but I've made it three pages long just like the first one.
Terra - I've used my photos from the 2005 show for now but I've also included my photos of the original wax sculpture as well as some official ones

(verbuMMagus Section) - Librarians Assistant / Spellbound - I've decided to combine and revamp both the Spellbound and Librarians Assistant pages since they are really the same piece with a long history!
This is the largest section for a single piece that I have ever done, it is now four pages long but that's good compared to the two separate sections that were three pages long each and repeated each other!
I've done the pages with side by side comparison photos from multi angles so that you can see the differences, this saves going from one page to another all the time to compare both versions, I've still included the photo of the wax sculpture, moulds, and unpainted white like before plus I've included as much detail as possible with notes. I've also included photos of an early piece with a thin dragon (like the earlier Librarians Apprentice pieces)
That's the Verbum section virtually fully up to date at long last, (except for a few tweaks like replacing some photos with larger versions of the same picture) I suppose I really should tackle the Enchantica section now...

This has took a lot of work to get up to date but there is nothing new for people to really look at. I hate doing this sort of update because there is a lot of work in doing it but there isn't much for people to see as new stuff but it has to be done to keep the site up to date

Just a quick warning that you may see a few pages go off line during the next few days especieally on the Enchantica pages, this is because I've been busy tidying all (and I mean all!) the pages up by centering them,removing unwanted clutter and rectifying any errors I've found plus I've been working on a new section that removes some of the pages and add others, it's a tedious job that no one will see a difference in but I'm doing this for myself because a few things have been bugging me!
I've also been working on about 5 different updates at once (who says men can't multi-task!) so it's got a little hectic over the weekend!
So... if you see some pages missing for a while, don't worry, they will be back up soon afterwards

(Enchantica section) - As part of the revamp and tidy up I've slimmed down the Rarities section and took out the different colour scheme pieces so it is now exclusive to special pieces, oddities and rarities
As a consequence of taking out the different colourways from the rarities section, I've now created a new subsection for all the Different Colours which includes artist proofs, show paints, professional repaints, paint your own pieces and other self painted pieces. Most of these you will have seen before but there are a few new additions that include 2 of Amy's pieces, EN2188 Iceheart that she has painted herself (very nice it is too) and EN2183 Triscall which was repainted by Tina Sherratt. A paint trial of EN2312 Defender that I found at Mouldart and Finally there is a nice repaint of EN2375 Aphellion that belongs to collector Phil Brown.

(Enchantica section) - I'm still finding pictures that should have been added years ago! I've found a photo I took at the 1997 Extravaganza of auction lot number 41 EN2174 Dragonbrood, it's a poor picture but it needs to be included

Also just found yet another Dragonet piece I forgot about! this time a second version of Fire but instead of being based on the "Rock" piece, this one is based on the "Stone" piece but with a slightly altered head sculpt.

(verbuMMagus Section) - Ever since I added the Verbum Magus range to my site (which is a few years ago now!) I created the index page as a temporary one because I had an idea how I wanted it to look, so I wrote on the page that is was just temporary... well it became permanent even when Andrew Bill asked me if I'd got any further with it about 2 years ago!
It was bugging me yesterday so I finally got around to making the Verbum index page the way I always wanted it to look... am I happy? yes and no! I was up until silly hours of the morning trying to get the animations to work! they work in my web editor program and it looks great, but not online! Grrr! so I give in for now and I'll give it another go at a later date.
At least it's 90% done, you just don't get the 2 candles flickering or the dragon blinking but you do get a couple of roll over effects (one stands out, the other is subtle) - EDIT: Sorted it out in 5 minutes at work! but had to wait until I got home to upload it again! how annoying is that!
I've tweaked a few bits while I was at it and I've also added another little hidden thing on the screen that is totally pointless but I was bored ;)

(Professional Art Section)- The Enchantica Art section has become a Professional Art section and includes all the old stuff that was in there before by Andrew Bill, Rob Simpson and John J. Woodward but now I've included Andrew Bill's Verbum Magus, Bookwryms and Seven Sins Art and his Celtic Princess for Danbury Mint plus John J. Woodwards art for Danbury/Mouldart.
There is now also some of Andrew Hulls artwork for his Fables range included and I've also added some concept artwork by Steve Simmons for the beakers, coasters, book art and poster. Also a great full colour finished painting of Avenger in battle
(Collectors Fantasy Art Section) - To give collectors more input to this site I've added a "Collectors Fantasy Art" section where people can email me any drawings, paintings or sculptures that they have done themselves and I will add it to this section for them.
Anything is allowed as long as it is fantasy related, so that means Dragons, Wizards, Witches, Faeries, Pegasus, Unicorns, Griffins, Gorgoyles, Pheonix, Greek mythological creatures, Gods... the list could go on they can be based on any existing sculpture by Andrew Bill or any other range or they can be entirely original art, I don't mind.
To start with I have included five paintings by Kent and one by Amy

(Enchantica section) - At last I've found the EN2169 Dragongorge Logo that I painted and I realised that I'd not finished it! so I finished it today and I've added it to the repaints and paint trials section, this is the only piece I've ever painted myself because I personally prefer to leave it to the professionals :D
I used Citadel Acrylic paints that I used for my Lord of the Rings figures from Games Workshop (Chaos Black, Shining Gold, Burnished Gold and Brazen Brass)

(Enchantica section) - It's been a long time coming but I've made a start on the "About Enchantica" Section (it's only took me just over 4 years to get around to starting it) I've decided to make it into five separate sections, Part 1 - The Beginning (HSC days), Part 2 - The Royal Doulton days & Part 3 - The Present (Xystos days) plus I'm including information about the packaging and certificates in this section.
So far all there is to look at is the first part of the HSC story (which I've got to complete) and the Certificates section and this will be followed very soon with the packaging section. as for the rest of the "Story of Enchantica"... well this will come eventually... when I feel like writing it :) hopefully it won't be another 4 years!! ;)
