I've given the Main Menu page a facelift as it was starting to get very cluttered again.

I've seperated things into different catagories to make it easier to follow and removed all the separate buttons for the Dragonsite & Tudor Mint ranges and just given each one a single button to get to the main menus. All the  buttons and graphic are new and you will also notice that when you put your mouse over a section, it will come up with a brief description of the section.

September 2nd 2008

(Andrew Bill Specials Page Section) - Another Dragonmaster added

This time Number 11 owned by James Dickerson

August 30th 2008

(Enchantica section) - I've managed to put the new eBay Enchantica price guide from yesterdays update all on one page

I've also kept the downloadable file too

Remember, due to the nature of eBay, this is only meant as a rough guide, NOT a definitive price list!

August 29th 2008

(Enchantica section) - A new eBay Enchantica price guide has been added, this time it's been compiled by collector Chris Wade who I owe a big thanks!

Due to the size of the list and that it's in a different style to the old lists by Sue Camm and the complications involved in putting it on a single page I've made it a downloadable file for now, it's in .xls format (Microsoft Excel)

Remember, due to the nature of eBay, this is only meant as a rough guide, NOT a definitive price list!

August 25th 2008

NEW SECTION ADDED

(Fairysite Section  - Well it's almost a new section! thefairysite is the new name given to all future fairy figures that have previously been released as Dragonsite figures! it's been a long time in the making but finally the Fairysite name is being used! (they have been announced on Munros site)

Eagle eyed fans may have noticed quite a while ago that if you went to www.thefairysite.com it actually took you to www.thedragonsite.com

Even though it's a move that I totally agree with, to separate the Dragons of Dragonsite from the Fairies, It's actually a move that I've been dreading because on a personal side it has caused me no end of headaches for over a year of how to incorporate it into the site as a separate range but include all the previous Dragonsite pieces. I've took the easy route, i've incorporated it into the Dragonsite section.

You'll notice that the Fairysite main menu is a cut down version of the Dragonsite main menu and the links actually take you to the same pages, but I've altered the pages to make note of the change of name. I've still got to do a bit of tweaking but it's roughly all there.

The very first Fairysite releases are four Jessica Galbreth pieces.:

Silver Moon, Mask of Autumn, White Magick & Spread Your Wings

PLEASE NOTE: Any future releases by Fairysite that are based on the work of artists not previously used on Dragonsite will only appear on the Fairysite menu and artists that don't have any further pieces made of their work will eventually slip off the Fairysite menu and only show on the Dragonsite one, eventually the two sections will probably grow apart but in these early days I'm keeping them closely linked.

August 22nd 2008

I've just added a simple poster advert to promote the 2008 Dragonsite show on the 5th of October, it's just a simplified version of last years advert and I may add more information if I get any.

The advert can be found on the sites opening page and on the opening pages for Dragonsite, Verbum Magus, Bookwyrms, Seven Sins, Jessica Galbreth & Nene Thomas.

Just a reminder for people that we have a forum for you to chat with like minded folk, please feel free to join in and chat. you can ask sculptors Andrew Bill & Rob Simpson questions and talk to Adrian Donati (owner of The Dragonsite UK) or even someone from Xystos (owners of Enchantica & Tudor Mint)

There may be just one more to follow... but it will be a while before I can post pictures

August 20th 2008

(TSL Piece Section) - Four more pieces from the final batch of Scribes, firstly one owned by Ken Seaman, one owned by Amber Racy and two owned by Alison, Here & Here (again, all painted by Tina Sherratt).

More to follow...

August 19th 2008

(TSL Piece Section) - Three more pieces from the final batch of Scribes, firstly one owned by Philip Richards, one owned by Toni Rose and one owned by Les Westley (all painted by Tina Sherratt).

More to follow...

August 18th 2008

(TSL Piece Section) - Start of the adding of photos from the final batch of Scribes, I'm starting with just one today but only because it is linked to the other part of todays update (below), this one is owned by Cid Perez. I will add more Scribes from the final batch throughout the week :-)

(Collectors Profiles Section) - New profile added, this one is for Cid Perez (who owns the Scribe above) there is no text but plenty of photos of his collection.

August 17th 2008

(Andrew Bill Specials Page Section) - This is for the one of the final two Marauders ever made (the other (number 41) will be added when I get permission from the owner).

This is Number 42 owned by Lance Keevil and painted in similar colours to his Dragonmaster I posted yesterday and similar to my Marauder.

August 16th 2008

(Andrew Bill Specials Page Section) - Another Dragonmaster added

This time Number 6 owned by Lance Keevil

August 15th 2008

(Andrew Bill Specials Page Section) - Another Dragonmaster added

This time Number 7 owned by Craig Martini

I've also replaced the first photo of 'Number 5' owned by Les Westley with a larger one

August 10th 2008

(Tudor Mint Section) - Spellbound range section updated with photos of two more pieces, these are owned by collector Harold Blackwood who also took the photos for me.

Firstly R012 Filia and secondly R019 Somniator this is my favourite piece from the entire range, I just love the wizard on this one

August 6th 2008

(Exodus Designs Section) - Thanks to Sue Camm & Matthew Nowell I've added pages and photos of five Exodus castles.

I've had photos of the two that Sue Camm sent me for a few months now (wizard & pegasus) but I didn't add them because I wasn't impressed by them so I put them as low priority but since Matty sent me pictures of three more today I thought I may as well add them all now and get them out of the way! they are all very odd and not to my taste.

Please Note: NONE of these were sculpted by Carol Lynn Penny, they were done by someone else later.

With Wizard, With Pegasus, With Serpent, With Demon and strangest of all... With Head!

August 5th 2008

(Genesis Creation Ltd Section) - It's about time I added some more Genesis stuff, I have a few pieces of my own awaiting photos but i'll do them at a later date, here are a few photos sent to me by collector Matthew Nowell

Dragonets - Lovers - This is unusual, we think it was painted by Clarecraft as it has all their hallmarks of how to ruin a fantastic piece with a bad colourway (scroll to bottom of the page to view them)

Gargoyles - Photo of Mirky in Clarecraft colours

Geomites - Yet another colour variation of the collectors club piece Hexabit and also Cubit in red

Mins - Extra photo added of each of the Dormin Scene & Tormin Scene, plus a photo added of a piece I've called Bearmin because I don't know it's proper name, all on the Mins page

(Exodus Section) - Also sent to me by Matthew is an Exodus piece I was missing photos of - Snail

August 1st 2008

(Andrew Bill Specials Page Section) - Two more Dragonmasters added

Firstly 'Number 5' owned by Les Westley and secondly Number 8 owned by Kim Robinson

July 19th 2008

BRAND NEW MINI-SECTION

(Tudor Mint Section) - I was supposed to be just doing a mini-section for the Tudor Mint range 'Spellbound' but i got a bit carried away and made a proper Tudor Mint Section...

Don't get too excited though, it's not a complex section, it's more of an introduction to the ranges really and I have no intention of doing a full comprehensive section for them.

So far I've added:

Spellbound range with my own photos of all but 7 of the pieces (all owned by Paul (Boz) Bodsworth)
Magic Moments range with official photos of all the six pieces in the range
Myth and Magic single page
Land of the Dragons single page
Crystal Mementos single page

I plan to add more to the Myth and Magic, Land of the Dragons & Crystal Mementos sections in time but i'll probably just add a few photos of a selection of pieces from each range to give collectors an idea of what is out there

July 18th 2008

(TSL Piece Section) - Photo added of one last 'Totem' owned by Paul (Boz) Bodsworth, Paul bought the white from another collector who had a spare and then had it painted

July 17th 2008

(Enchantica section) - Larger official photos added of EN3034 Aledwyn and EN3035 Visiroth

I've also swapped these pieces around as the official site has them listed that way.

July 15th 2008

(Hap Henriksen - Wizards, Jesters & Dragons) - Photos added of the wizard Mydwynter, these replace the official photo and were very kindly supplied by fellow collector Harold Blackwood.

I really do wish more companies would make wizards like this instead of the stereotypical pointy hat and lush robes with stars all over them!! I really do like the down to earth look of pieces like this, it is so simple yet full of character!

July 14th 2008

(Enchantica section) - Pages added for three new releases.

EN3033 Noctyrn - Designed by Rob Simpson but sculpted in China - I've included three large official photos superimposed onto my blue background, the original concept art and 9 photos I took of an unpainted white.

EN3034 Aledwyn - Designed by John J. Woodward but sculpted in China - I've included a tiny official photo which I hope to replace very soon.

EN3035 Visiroth - Designed by John J. Woodward but sculpted in China - I've included a tiny official photo which I hope to replace very soon.

July 13th 2008

(Collectors Profiles Section) - I've finished working on the profile for Paul (Boz) Bodsworth I've added photos of his garden and his back tattoos.

(Enchantica section) - I've also added a few photos of Paul at the 2000 & 2001 Extravaganzas where he really got into the spirit of the shows by attending in full costume!

2000 as Mezereon & 2001 as Gembranosus

(If anyone has any photos from ANY of the Extravaganzas I'd love to see them to add to the site)

July 11th 2008

(Professional Art Section) - Art section updated

Artwork by Rob Simpson added of an concept for an Enchantica Spirit of the Crystal that was never used plus i've replaced the art for EN2252 Terragor with a better quality one.

Artwork by John J. Woodward added of a Faerie and a group of Nightmare Faeries plus the art of Gandalf for the Lord of the Rings range he designed (not sculpted) for Danbury Mint.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(Collectors Fantasy Art Section) - Amy's section updated with the addition of the Destroying Angel
All artwork in this update is owned by Boz
July 10th 2008
(Enchantica section) - Photos added of more different colourways plus an unpainted white, all owned by Paul Bodsworth
Firstly three "official" colourways (not repaints) - EN2016 Fantazar that is just a slight variant on the production piece, EN2033 Waxifrade which may or may not be a 1997 auction piece, and yet another EN2256 Fantazar in blues (again)
Secondly three pieces painted by fellow collector Sue Camm for Paul - EN2171 Vladdigor & EN2217 Left Bookend & EN2218 Right Bookend
Thirdly I've also added EN2132 Xenith the paint your own piece, painted by Paul himself
Finally I've added photos of EN2195 Kaamil as an unpainted "white"
July 9th 2008
(Enchantica section) - Photos added of another three different colourways painted by Tina Sherratt & owned by Paul Bodsworth.
EN2104 Ice Demon, EN2239 Ice Demon & EN2126 Dragonskeep
July 7th 2008
(Enchantica section) - Photos added of three different colourways owned by Paul Bodsworth.
Firstly an early paint trial of EN2099 Enchantica Logo and then two pieces he had repainted by Tina Sherratt to match the Logos colours - EN2169 Dragongorge Logo & EN3005 Enchantica Plaque.
July 6th 2008
(Enchantica section) - Photos added of EN2302 Massazauga repainted by Tina Sherratt for collector Paul Bodsworth, I don't care for multi headed dragons but this has to be one of the best looking Massazaugas out there
July 5th 2008
(Collectors Profiles Section) - New profile added, this one is for Paul (Boz) Bodsworth who i visited on Monday. I want to add a little more to this profile but I wanted to get the bulk of it up now and add a few more photos later.
July 2nd 2008
(Genesis Creation Ltd Section)  - Thanks to collector Sue Camm I have put up an updated eBay price guide that she has put together, please remember that eBay isn't a great guide to go by for actual valuations because one piece can sell for £50 one day and another for £5 the next day! that's just how eBay is! but this is a great tool to get a rough idea what they have been selling for and i couldn't have added it without Sue's tireless work.
July 1st 2008
(Andrew Bill Specials Page Section) -
(Erick Sosa Section) - I've added a brand new section for a new sculptor (to this site) his name is Erick Sosa and he is based in Los Angeles, Califorina and is working with Sideshow collectables but he wants to create his own range of highly detailed and strictly limited dragon sculptures.
The section is just a single page at the moment but as Erick sculpts more dragons more pages will be added to make a better section, it will include progress photos and if you go to the forum you can discuss the sculpts with him on there.
ERICK SOSA SECTION
Page 3: This page is blank for now but I will put photos of the original rejected paint trial in here (i'm waiting for a while before I do though because it's best for people to see the production piece colours first)
May 13th 2008
(Dragonsite section)  - (Jessica Galbreth Section) - New page added for another June release piece. This one is Moon Flower, I took these photos back in January 2008 but it wasn't certain what was going to happen with the piece. February 24th 2008
(verbuMMagus Section) - Two new pages with photos added for two new pieces due hopefully in May this year. They are Night and Day, both sets of photos are actually of the paint trial versions and the production version of 'Day' will be a little lighter than the one shown. I'll replace the photos with production pieces when they are released.
February 21st 2008
I've done a very slight alteration to the website, it's nothing major, but it does have a fair bit of signifigance...
when i created the site the initial thing was that it was an Enchantica website because that was my passion, over time other sections were added as you all know, but i always classed it as an Enchantica site!
Dragonsite has played a much larger part in recent years and has become the mainstay of the site and so a decision has been made especially with the way Xystos have handled Enchantica and the way they say one thing but don't tell the truth to either collectors or retailers...
I have alway had Enchantica at the top of the Main Index Page, well no longer, that place now goes to Dragonsite and the Enchantica button is now below it! So, it may not seem like a big update but it is a milestone in representing my feelings and how i see the fantasy market...
I no longer class this site as an Enchantica biased site... and thats something i never thought i'd say but it's the fault of Xystos and the way they have handled the collectors that has brought me to this unfortunate decision.
I will still carry on updating the Enchantica section as normal but i no longer feel close to the range, it feels distant from it's original self, it's lost its way!
February 17th 2008
(Enchantica section) - My own photos added of the three new pieces, these replace the official ones
EN3030 Malshan, EN3031 G'saith & EN3032 Watcher
Links also added to the links page for The Friendly Dragon & Collect@ shops
February 16th 2008
(Enchantica section) - New page and photos added of the first Enchantica Event of 2008, held at The Friendly Dragon in the Piece Hall in Halifax (UK). Here
The event is a two day event & I visited today but the show continues tomorrow.
February 13th 2008
(TSL Piece Section) - Continuing the photos of collectors pieces of TSL 'Scribe'
Photos added of one more piece, this one owned and painted by Aldana in red and black with the wings going from red, through orange in to yellow.
February 10th 2008
(Collectors Fantasy Art Section) - I've added a couple of pieces of art by Amy they are Dragon 1 & Dragon 2
February 8th 2008
(Enchantica section) - photos added of an old Enchantica Extravaganza auction piece from 1998, this is EN2185 Terakk that was Lot number 10. It is now owned by Ivo de Rozarieux. I've put it in both the auction pages and the different colourway pages
February 7th 2008
(Enchantica section) - photos added of three new pieces, these are the Gargoyle dragons and are the replacement for the Guardians of the Stones, they are slightly larger and chunkier but still a nice small size dragon. They are as follows:
EN3030 Malshan, EN3031 G'saith & EN3032 Watcher I've included a front & rear view of each piece which i'll replace in time, the original art by Rob Simpson and lots of photos of the pieces as unpainted whites.
...
Notes added to the EN3010 Sentry of Anconeus (Club redemmption piece), EN3014 Filashk (club membership piece) & EN3029 Grembas Trophy (2007 Event piece) pages due to Xystos "Re-Releasing" them all as general release pieces...
I'm not even going to comment on this farce...
February 6th 2008
(TSL Piece Section) - Continuing the photos of collectors pieces of TSL 'Scribe'
Photos added of one more piece, this one owned by Paul Bodsworth it was painted by fellow collector Sue Camm for him. This one was once owned by Amy and painted by Caroline Briggs but as she didn't like it, she sold it to Paul and he got Sue to repaint it for him. I've put both colourways on the same page so you'll need to scroll down the page to see the repainted version. (I'll replace these photos as soon as possible)
February 4th 2008
Mike Merry Restorations - Have you got a figurine sitting in a box in more pieces than than there should be? did you have an accident while dusting? would you like that piece back on the shelf with the rest of your collection? well Mike may be your saviour! Mike has been repairing ceramics for many years and attended a few Enchantica Extravaganzas, he is the official restorer for Lilliput Lane Cottages and is highly recommended by most of the big names in the industry.
I've been looking for someone to promote on here to replace Mouldarts repair service since they closed last year and I thought why not promote the best! so I've created a page for him (Also visit his own website for more information)
For future reference, the Mike Merry page can be accessed by a new button on the Main Index Page and a link to his site has been added to the Links page
Tina Sherratt - While I was adding the Mike Merry Restorations page I decided to tidy up Tina Sherratts repaints page
Update notices will eventually be moved to the archive update page to stop this page getting clogged up, it will be done as I feel necessary.
