SWIFT TERROR

Old writings exist, from the great book of Enchantica, of smaller “Raptor-like” dragons, who, within the great forests of Dragongorge, hunt and roam together in small packs led by a larger, more ferocious leader, a coordinator of attacks, the final killer of prey or foe.

The passage reads: “They moved with great swiftness amongst the broken trees and branches of the Old Forest. Perfectly camouflaged, these beasts position themselves strategically, by commanding calls from their pack leader, around their chosen prey”.  Their stealth and coordination was admirable and once the pack were in position, the leader, resplendent in forest hues, hunched upon its sharp sinewy legs, head lowered, lips drawn back across sharp white teeth, burst through the greenery of the forest and swiftly moved in for the kill, claws and talons bared.  From this moment, this mighty beast was known as Terakk: swift and deadly; no mercy would be shown to any man or beast, however brave, who should (so bravely) stand in its path…
