SHYIRA

PARADISE DRAGON

Of the myriad dragon species to inhabit the sunken world of Dragongorge, the paradise dragons are surely the most dazzling.  Resplendent in his coat of many colours is Shyira, the paladris.  Paladris, like the other paradise dragons, belong to the family of skydancers.

It is a rare and wondrous sight to steal a secret glimpse of the brilliant Shyiras and his rivals as they soar and dive before an audience of females on the cliffs, displaying their rainbow majesty and aerial prowess.  Like giant, fabulous kites they twist and spiral on the surging draughts, flourishing wings and crests of bold and iridescent colour.

Imagine a flock of handsome dragons like Shyira; a mesmeric skydance, a bright airborne kaleidoscope whirling against the backdrop of dark frowning cliffs, caught by the last searching beams of the evening sun.
