CORMÕRIN

GUARDIAN OF THE RUINS

As it has been told throughout the known times of Enchantica, there was once a sacred point, an elaborate yet beautifully constructed gateway many krills high which marked the entrance to the place known as Dragongorge.

A portal, guarded constantly, allowing entry only to the wiseguards of that time to learn and honour the unknown lands, secrets and wonders that lay beyond.

Many years passed and in this time the brotherhood evolved into the four wizards, each given a magnificent power, to control the very essence of a season.  Each would rule in turn at a mighty city which became known as the throne citadel.

A time honoured tradition marked the changeover of the throne citadel and at the same time a grand ceremony would take place at Dragongorge to mark the changing of the guard.  Soon it was decided that a lone sentinel was insufficient for this task and it was declared that a dutiful dragon would be more appropriate to guard the entrance to its homeland.

A breed was chosen, mild in temper yet whose might was great enough to instil fear into any who trespassed.

Many years soon passed, new realms discovered.  The portal became a ruin, its fabulous entrance now just windswept rock and yet there still remains the last of the guardians, the mighty dragon known as Cormörin who, to this day stands firm his ground wandering amongst the ruins awaiting the return of the wizards.
