OTHER INFORMATION

Made to go with EN2237 'Barbarian'

Also first 750 sold as Set as EN2244 'Battle for the Orb' with a small piece to join them together

The Ice Demon was first shown with arrows stuck in the shield but they were removed for production, two original samples with the arrows and a white resin spear were sold at the 1999 Extravaganza auction for £430 and £455. I had the chance to buy one of these in 2000 but the owner sold it to someone else less than 24 hours after I told him I would buy it from him, so be warned some people will sell to others before you have a chance to write a cheque. If anyone knows who has one of these pieces please let me know as I would love a photo of one of them (See photo at bottom of page)

This piece came with the card folder type certificate
(certificate photo kindly supplied by Christine Clark and Pete Thompson)

When compared to the original Ice Demon (EN2104) released a few years before, this makes it looks like a tame little puppy (well OK, not quite but you can see what I mean from the picture below)

The Ice Demon was made to fit together with EN2237 Barbarian and the first 750 were sold as EN2244 The Battle for the Orb and was supplied with a small 'plug' to fit between them as shown in the picture below and they came with a single certificate

The Ice Demon was first shown with arrows stuck in the shield but they were removed for production, two original samples with the arrows and a white resin spear were sold at the 1999 Extravaganza auction for £430 and £455, The Photo below was put on the Official site when announced.
