EN2254 - Kwannon

KWANNON

(Marsh Dragon)

Unusually for marsh or swamp dragons, Kwannon had never been known to be hostile to travellers or adventurers.  Although his fearsome appearance caused many to shy away from his powerful presence.  Named Kwannon, by Gembranosus, the wizard of the Deathtreader Swamp, which is “Hard nose” in the old tongue.  The dragon became quite tame under the old mage’s gentle influence.  He was even known to accept food from the wizards hand.  Kwannon earned his name by his habit of excavating and maintaining a generous pool during the dry season which naturally attracted and supported a wide host of creatures.  Among these were the Nabar, a ferocious species of wild boar, armed with an impressive battery of tusks, which just happened to be Kwannon’s favourite prey.
