EN2314 - Asgenars Hoard

Asgenar’s Hoard

Legend tells of a mighty magical treasure.  A prize far mightier than that of Urlfang himself.  For centuries it has stood, fabled to be a lost hoard of the elven king Asgenar, centred within a pool of hot lava, locked behind bars forged by elven craftsmen, the bridge of kristinal bares the only way.  Those foolish to cross would encounter a sentinel of fearsome might, dressed in the blackest of scale and eyes that shine in the darkest of shadows enough even to frighten the bravest of warriors that would flee before its presence.

OTHER INFORMATION

This piece looks fantastic when lit from below, the lava base lights up red

Original artwork of Asgenors Hoard below was drawn by Rob Simpson and as such he owns the ©copyright to this art - used with kind permission
Note that the original idea was for this to be the Extravaganza piece for 2003

The gate is cast in metal and there is a crystal on a pedestal behind the gate

The base is meant to look like molten lava and is cast in a red translucent resin and painted over in black so when lit from below it looks really good. The crystal on the pedestal behind the gate also lights up when lit from underneath

This piece came with the full colour card folder type certificate
