EN2364 - Gremba
Gremba
The tortured melody that blared through the jagged curve of the cavern, rose to a frenzy as the Lord of the North reached the main doors. A caterwauling choir of screeching goblins erupted into song to greet his approach to the twin thrones. Okka rose reverently as the lone figure neared the stone platform, and descended the few steps to wait for him.
Gremba cast a menacing shadow on the ground. Resplendent in heavy, spiked battle armour, his glaring orange eyes started out from beneath an elaborate helm, an embossed frontlet of black iron rising to a riot of long hair plumes, the prized scalps of his victims. The face of the wolvine, a huge evil beast corrupted to serve Vrorst, from the already fearsome mountain wolf, appeared as an insignia on various components of Gremba’s armour, and on the shields and breastplates of his northern warriors. Indeed, Gremba and his minions were so feared by the surrounding inhabitants of the northern mountains, that they had been named the Wolves of the North.

OTHER INFORMATION |
This is a stunning addition to the Goblins only ruined (in my opinion) by the different colour skin to the rest of the Goblins, but I must admit the dark colours are growing on me over time. When this piece was first shown in the collectors club newsletters it didn't have two swords it had one sword and a dagger but this was changed for production, it is strange that the newsletter picture showed him with a dagger because a picture of the piece in wax that I have seen has him holding two swords so a decision must have been made shortly after the wax for a dagger and then changed again before production. The two swords are made out of metal |
