EN3013 - Craagnagars Gate

Many miles he had travelled, many wondrous things he had seen and yet, Throstle stood motionless starring endlessly at an ancient gate ruin. The last time he had stood here he was escorting his mentor and good friend Shadragora. Now 20 years had passed, the man was now older and wiser and was aware that beyond this gate would be his destiny a fulfilment only his departed master could understand. A scented breeze filled the air and for a moment his defences were willingly left open as he climbed the final steps. Suddenly his entrance was halted by a trio of guardian dragons. Adorned in high dragon colours, they danced and darted around the gate, each seemed to be testing the others prowess soaring up into a cloudless sky and then falling and swooping effortlessly between the gates ancient pillars. Was this a welcoming party? Could they have remembered him? As they finally took rest upon the gate they all gazed at Throstle with a devoted admiration and in Dragon tongue whispered in his ears. “Welcome Dragonmaster, long have you travelled and much have you learned, we welcome you eternally, enter now for Craagnagar awaits your arrival.”
