On Wednesday the 12th of December 2012 Andrew Bill organised a special little event, He wanted to test the water as there hadn't been a dragon event held by the Dragonsite for a few years and he wanted to see if there was still a market for his dragons... The resounding answer on the day was YES!

He got to work on sculpting a new piece for the Dragons of British Folklore, a British Dragon event plaque and a special event only Dragon so that collectors had something new to look at and more importantly to purchase

Along with his family they aranged the event to be held on the 12th of December 2012, As Andrew Bill said "It seemed a great shame to let the iconic date of 12*12*12 go by without marking it in some significant way. And I couldn’t think of anything better than working together with friends and family to organise a special event. As you know, 2012 is the last year such a special date will occur, what comes next will be a whole new era – and the future, unlike the event, is not set in stone!!"

The event will took place in picturesque Stone Railway Station, Staffordshire, England. This beautiful building from a bygone age has recently been renovated, and was the perfect venue for event.

His family and friends helped out with light refreshments and also had stalls of their own, He also invited other artists and crafters to share the space so that there would be more than just his own work on offer on the day.

The guests involved were John James Woodward, well know to Enchantica collectors but whose work is much more expansive than just Dragons, He was there with his Colonel J. Fizziwigs Steampunk  creations. Andrew Hull, best known to Enchantica and Fables collectors for his dragons, pegasus & unicorns had his fantastic latest ceramic creations on display. Adrian Donati from The Dragonsite was there with a stall and showed a special paint version of 'Haunted Oak' along with the production version and eight unicorn figures sculpted by Andrew Hull which will be released in 2013, local glass artist Kate Brown was selling her work and Artist Tamara Newman was there with her fantasy artwork including her stunning Ignis Fire Dragon. Another  guest was me, John Webster! I was involved from the start and was asked by Andy to have a stall promoting TSL (I did the online advertising for the event on both our sites and on facebook) I had one of each of the TSL pieces on display including a step by step guide to the production of TSL 3, and I had my laptop there to show both TSL and Andrew Bills websites. Tina Allen (Sherratt) made an appearance later on in the day and had a few pieces to sell and late in the evening Sculptor and Designer Rob Simpson turned up to just say hello. One other famous name also showed her face, fantasy artist Anne Stokes! she wasn't there with a stall but she was there as moral support for John Woodward whom she works with in the Tower of Art in Leeds. Other family members and friends had stalls like Andys dad who actually was the designer behind the Enchantica logo and some of the art in the first Enchantica novel
