Atnanticus
Long, long ago in the distant past, when dragons filled and ruled the air, the seas were ruled by mighty serpents. With the coming of man, the dragons of the sky sought solitude in the hidden corners of the earth. Like the dragons of flight, the sea serpents also found their solitude . . . in the depths of the world's oceans and inland seas. Solitary by nature, and only to be seen occasionally, their wrath is seldom vented on man, and then only when provoked.
Atnanticus lives in the northern reaches of the Old World in a small inland sea connected to the ocean by underwater caves. He easily traverses this complex maze of caves to feed in the open waters but always returns to the cold inland depths of his mountain shrouded sea, well out of the sight of the prying eyes of man.
