Oh, the folly of man! The shell of the dragon's egg has many magic
properties. However, in order to gain access to this magic, the dragon which was
once common has been hunted virtually out of existence, and very little thought
has been given to preserving this important creature.
The few dragons remaining in the wild have retreated far from man's influence
so it remains for the far-sighted Dragon Master to ensure their very
survival by carefully nurturing them and gathering the eggs thoughtfully and
sensibly

It's very unusual to see a
wingless dragon portrayed in
any medium especially as a figurine
because we are told they don't
sell but I think if they are
sculpted well enough like this
one no one minds.
I once owned this piece and
I've regretted selling it ever
since.
