Farundell
Farundell, The Great Wayfarer, rests his weary limbs. His face weatherbeaten and careworn and his hair as white as snow.
Now he is old, it is not so easy for him to march the dusty roads into far-off cities and distant lands, to battle with mighty dragons and to use all his powers to outwit evil sorcerers. As he rests he tells his tales of long finished adventures and forgotten magic to those who are wise enough to listen. Through sun, rain, wind and snow he had travelled, over mountains and through deserts, knowing not where the road would lead him, only that the quest for wisdom must go ever on.
At long last he grasps his staff with his ancient, gnarled hands and continues on his journey; he may be old and tired but while the world still holds secrets to discover, he will not give up the quest. . .
