Knowe
High in his towering castle, Knowe pulls out yet another dusty volume of magic and searches for a long-forgotten spell.
He smiles as he turns the yellowed parchment pages, covered with runes drawn by a young and inexperienced hand. He is remembering the long hours he spent as an apprentice wizard copying the weighty tomes of his master, wishing for the day when at last his library of magic would be complete. But, that day, Knowe realized long ago, will never come to pass.
Still, his long life has been devoted to the study and research of magic from many lands but the task is one for many, many lifetimes and will never be finished. But, for now, there will always be new spells and secrets to discover, which Knowe, as the librarian of all magical knowledge, will help devise and document.
