Foreshadow The Seer
The original and crystal versions
The Seer was an important man in times gone by. Nearly everyone wanted to know what the future would hold, and Foreshadow the Seer was the man charged with looking into the future. Gazing deep into his crystal ball, his countenance would change to one of either great consternation or overwhelming delight, depending on what he thought he could see. Although he claimed to be all-seeing, his answers to questions were rarely specific and could be interpreted in a number of ways no matter what the outcome. After all, to be a Seer who was proved wrong would be to discredit his profession and himself, and he could very well lose either his job or his head.
