Howland The Wise

Howland was something of a mystery. He had spent many years of his life travelling distant and exotic lands, eventually to return with the reputation of a first class magician, and bearing seven crystal spheres. No one really knew what was in these spheres, but it was rumored that they contained seven mysterious beings, each with its own particular speciality from science to philosophy to poetry. These beings were said to be completely under Howland's control and available to do exactly as he bid.

Such servants rendered Howland a mighty and wise wizard indeed.
