Pondering the Quest
Donnateur set out with an important and difficult quest. One which no man had attempted to complete since written or spoken words began. His aim in life was to gather together the opinions of great philosophers on the secrets of nature.
His task was made difficult by those whose opinions were jealously guarded. Some feared that their work would fall into the wrong hands. Others tried to induce Donnateur to work for them, but he was as shrewd as he was persistent, and slowly he uncovered and gathered the truth.
