Keeper of the Ruin
High in the side of a rocky mountain stood the noble ruins of a once magnificent castle. To the traveller, the castle would have looked long deserted but for the presence of the powerful, majestic dragon gently encircling and watching over it.
The traveller asked and found out that inside the castle an old wizard still worked at his desk and legend had it that this wizard was named Gaawed, The Merchant of Dreams. To the perceptive eye of the dragon, Gaawed had become so old and frail that he chose to guard and cherish him constantly.
Although Gaawed’s
life was drawing to a close, the Dragon was timeless and would guard the ruin
and the secret knowledge it held for what was left of the great magician’s life
and until the tower and its contents crumbled into the earth from which they
sprang.

OTHER INFORMATION |
This stunning large prestige piece came on a black (enviromentally friendly) wooden plinth that had a turntable built in to it because the piece was too heavy to keep lifting, it was a great idea because there is so much to see on this piece and just viewing from one angle just isn't enough, you need to be able to rotate it to take in all the detail By special request you could order this piece with a walnut colour base instead of black. There was a companion piece to this called Merchant of Dreams where the dragon was just a young dragon sat my his master. |
The piece on this page belongs to collector Alastair Dunning
