Septimus was the seventh son of the most impressive and powerful wizard of his age. By his eightieth year, and with many years still ahead of him, Septimus had achieved a vision of so such infinite depth and dimension that it was stated by Rimbaugh, the Keeper of Knowledge, that there had been no wizard previously to match his achievement of being able to "see through" the PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE as if no concepts of time or boundaries existed. Strangely, only Septimus wondered what was to be done with such power.
