Wyvern
The Wyvren (Draconis Bipedes) is one of the two types of British Firedrake Dragon. Once feared and hunted, it now appears on the heraldry and arms of some of England's oldest families and institutions. This is a two-legged dragon, winged with a serpentine body and tail, and possessed of a single set of powerful, taloned forearms. In shape and size Wyvern was not dissimilar to certain extinct dinosaurs, like Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus. Perhaps these fearsome creatures did not die out quite as early as we think.
