Geirrod, King of Trolls

Born in Norse legend, Geirrod was very large, evil, scheming, short-tempered and violent.
Even as a boy, Geirrod displayed all of these nasty, vindictive traits. Once Geirrod went on a winter fishing trip with his brother Agnar and left him drifting in the boat without oars, food or drink and returned to his father with the news that Agnar had drowned.
Throughout his life, Geirrod was a sworn enemy of the Gods and was eventually killed by Thor with a white hot iron in retaliation for Geirrod's attempts to kill him by capturing Loki and using him as bait to attempt to attract Thor into a fatal ambush.
